BSF Celebrates Wins at First Nebraska Governor’s Youth Summit
On August 13, the Barrientos Scholarship Foundation proudly joined the first-ever Nebraska Governor’s Youth Summit, a landmark event bringing together young leaders from across the state. This milestone was made possible through our partnership with CareerPathway, with whom we collaborated to create 27 additional scholarships this year, raising an impressive $140,000 for the 2025 school season.
At the summit, BSF was recognized as an organizational leader, elevating statewide awareness about the importance of retaining Nebraska’s top talent. Our participation underscored the Foundation’s commitment to building brighter futures for students who are ready to lead.
We extend our gratitude to Craig and Tiffani Wolf of Cheer Athletics and Andy Beck of AEF Basketball for their unwavering support, and to WoodmenLife for ensuring our students could attend this historic gathering.
Most importantly, we celebrate our students. Their courage to seek opportunity and their dedication to education inspire every step we take. To honor their commitment, each student attendee will receive a bonus scholarship, a reflection of BSF’s belief that when young leaders step forward, we will always be there to invest in their future.
