BSF - Cinco de mayo education scholarship

One $2,500 scholarship will be awarded to a Latino student pursuing a degree in the field of Education and attending any accredited Nebraska college or university. The scholarship is merit based. Candidates will be ranked according to GPA, ACT Score, Essay and Resume. BSF aims to award scholarships to the most qualified applicant with a financial need. Financial need is not determined solely by income, but rather the Expected Family Contribution and other available financial assistance including grants and scholarships.

Two $2,500 Scholarships for Latino Students attending any Nebraska College or University with the intention to study and major in the fields of Health or Science. The scholarships are merit based. Candidates will be ranked according to GPA, ACT Score, Essay and Resume. BSF aims to award scholarships to the most qualified applicant with a financial need. This Scholarship is given in memory of Lucy Mora. One $2,500 scholarship will be awarded to a Latino student pursuing a degree in Humanities, Arts or Government from any accredited college in Nebraska. Government degrees can include: Criminal Justice, Pre-Law, Public Administration, Political Science, Sociology, and Social Work. The scholarship is merit based. Candidates will be ranked according to GPA, ACT Score, Essay and Resume. BSF aims to award scholarships to the most qualified applicant with a financial need. One $2,500 scholarship to a Latino student to attend any accredited college or university in Nebraska pursuing any degree. Recipient will be chosen based on leadership experience and community service. Applicants should have a GPA above 3.0. BSF aims to award scholarships to the most qualified applicant with a financial need. Financial need is not determined solely by income, but rather the Expected Family Contribution and other available financial assistance including grants and scholarships.


One $2,500 scholarship will be awarded to a Latino student pursuing a degree any major in the college of Business at any accredited college or university in Nebraska. Government degrees can include: Accounting, Finance, Marketing, and Management. The scholarship is merit based. Candidates will be ranked according to GPA, ACT Score, Essay and Resume. BSF aims to award scholarships to the most qualified applicant with a financial need.
