4th Annual Latino Heritage Awards Banquet
On October 10, 2008 we celebrated National Hispanic Heritage Month and honored Omaha area Latino Leaders at the Fourth Annual Latino Heritage Awards Banquet!

Latino of the Year: Mark Martinez, Omaha Police Dept.
Latina of the Year: Patricia Castro, Creighton University
Education: Juliana Garza, Latino Center of the Midlands
Arts: Linda and Jose Garcia, Las Artes Cultural Center
Business: El Perico
Youth: Abraham Gomez, Bellevue University
In addition, scholarships were awarded to thirteen individuals for the 2008-2009 academic year!
